Gibson Peghead

The Golden Era of the Gibson Thinlines

This is Gibson ES-330TD from 1959.

330s have no center block like 335s, so it is completely hollow. They share the same 24-3/4" scale, but the neck joins the body at a different spot so the overall legth is less.

Very cool guitars with a very different sound than 335s.

This is a perticulary nice example that spent at least a part of it's life in Austin, TX before returning to Michigan a few years ago.

This guitar is from my own collection.
